Connecting with God's love
At Cornerstone, our sermons are designed to help everyone, from the local Teesdale community and beyond, understand that anyone can know the unconditional love of Jesus and can connect deeply with God.
We believe in sharing Bible-based messages that resonate with your heart and guide you towards a personal relationship with Father God.
Our ministry team is comprised of a group of different people who share God’s Word in their own unique ways. We aim to hear from God and share with His people what the Holy Spirit is saying to us.

God’s plan for your life
Through our Sunday services, we aim to reveal that God has a unique and wonderful plan for each of our lives.
As Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, '"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."'
Join us as we explore how you can become a part of His incredible purpose.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit
Our weekly sermons seek to inspire and equip you to live in the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that God can speak and perform miraculous things in our lives today, just as Jesus said in John 10:10, "I came that you might have life, and have it to the full."
Discover how Jesus, ‘the same yesterday, today and forever,’ can transform your daily existence.
Teesdale Mercury ‘Voice of Faith’
Every three to four months, Pastor Andrew contributes a Voice of Faith article for our local newspaper, the Teesdale Mercury. Read the latest article below.
As a church minister, one of the greatest honours is to lead celebrations such as weddings, dedications and, occasionally, funerals. It is particularly special when it is the funeral of a someone you have known very well. It is an opportunity to share stories and memories, hope and comfort in the midst of mourning and sadness.
In moments like this, with grief and loss very raw and real, we all ask questions—about life, about death and about what comes next. This an absolutely normal – a very human response to something much bigger than we can fully understand.
Many people living in Teesdale understand the importance of livestock and arable farming. In the spring, my wife and I enjoy watching the newly born lambs jumping and skipping in the fields. The Bible often describes people like sheep – not as an insult – but as a truth. Sheep wander about. They get lost. They need guidance and care. In the same way, we all try to get through life on our own. We search for meaning, security, and peace—but often still feel restless inside. In John chapter 10 verse 11, Jesus states: “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.” A few chapters later in John 14:6, Jesus says of Himself: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Maybe there’s a few questions for us all to ponder… Are we following the Good Shepherd who can lead and guide us through life? What if death is not the end—and what if Jesus is the One who has made a way through it?
This is the Christian hope: not just comfort, strength and guidance for today, but the promise of life everlasting with God.
